“Kasagiyama” is known to have one of the most unusual color combinations found in japanese maples. Early spring it has a bright pink foliage, turning to brick red in the summer. It also has dark red veins in the leaf. This is a rare and very unusual cultivar and it is quite exciting to watch the new foliage. They reach about 12 feet high, and 12 ft wide.
