This grafted japanese has beautiful purple leaves that radiate strongly outward. Rich black-purple in spring, even a bluish overtone. Strong red veins are very attractive, and the bark is a deep maroon. Grows to 15 ft tall and is multibranched. Hardy to minus 15 degrees without extra protection.
