Inaba shirdare is known for its persistence of deep tone of purple-red foliage color throughout the entire growing season. Fall colors turn to a crimson tone. It has cascading form and grows a little taller than most lace leaf maples. They reach about 12 feet high, and 12 ft wide. Hardy to minus 15 fine in high temps and humidity, you can not go wrong with this variety.
